The Memorial day race weekend at Lime Rock is where I fell in love with cars as a kid, and was a yearly pilgrimage until college. Speaking as a Ford diesel mechanic a lot (not all) of the reliability issues seen on the 6.0 was dues to lack of maintenance. People did not realize that the oil service intervals on the engine was 5k miles or 200 engine hours, so the ones that idled a lot (any commercially/state licensed vehicle- cuz it's not my fuel…
