You’re right. In the Volt, It was a T-shaped battery that went down the middle and behind the rear seats

star for you!
Believe me, I understand all that. I was trying to be facetious but I guess it didn’t come off that way and even got an entire math-and-facts reply! *swoon*
Maybe I’ll forget the /s tag more often
wait, I thought I recently read an article (on here, to boot!) about how people AREN’T buying motorcycles anymore. WHICH IS IT!?
There are other aspects of my jeep that drive me far more nuts than the back steering wheel buttons. What REALLY kills me is visual details on a screen. Nothing on that instrument clister screen lines up, is centered, etc. Global lights don’t match up, etc. Same thing on our volt. Just ugly, poorly thought out screens…
All I said was that i didn’t find them difficult to use. Every time I put my hands on the steering wheel, my fingers fell on the buttons. I don’t prefer them or not prefer them, but i literally find them not any more difficult to use the the Ford front facing pods, they are a learned behavior once you know they are…
Those buttons on the back of the wheel aren’t difficult to operate at all, IMO. There is a mute button, but it’s on the main volume knob.
lol “ran when parked”
“because the only software it can handle are UWP”
No, it can only install programs though the windows store, which include Win32 programs that have been packaged to do so...
The Grand Tour got old SOOOO FAST. This is legitimately entertaining.
The Plug in one is like the Chevy Volt of my dreeeeeeems. Why can’t I have more money so they can shut up and take it!!!??
Wake me up when these things can handle a midwestern winter then we’ll talk.
we averaged 24 combined with our ‘14/4cyl.
Most highway MPG I ever saw was 29.
I had a ‘14 4cyl, that, after several reflashes eventually performed without issue. I know that the transmission always behaved better with the V6 than the four. I don’t think you have much to worry about any longer.
I do about 90%/10% electric/gas driving in my hybrid and see about a 2:1 savings over gasoline even now, but I guess in Michigan we have a pretty low per KWh price?
Buy a used volt for $12k and live the dream!
You’re absolutely right though, you simply do not buy a brand new electric car to save money in any way shape or form unless you’re keeping it for quite a long time!
Word of mouth awareness seems to really be a thing (at least in my circles). I’m still stunned how many random people ask me stuff about my Volt.
that dash with the light up Union Jack is grotesque. I like the general idea with the tail lights, but... I wish it were more subtle maybe?
I just bought a 2014 JGC EcoDiesel Overland. I can’t speak to your other choices, but I love this thing. I’ve heard it gets even better after a GDE Tune. Typical caveats about Chrysler products apply, so an extended warranty may be up for your consideration.
Adaptive cruise, heated f/r seats, ventilated front, air…
Wish you luck!
