The lack of a charging network is what kills it. Until GM either plays nice with the supercharging network or builds out it’s own it’s a nonstarter (as far as competing) IMO.

Same thing happened to me when I bought my used Volt. The dealership even had two L2 chargers! I test drove it with 0 EV miles, and subsequently bought it the next day and was given the keys with 0 EV miles. (and a half tank of gas to add insult to injury).
The Volt I drive is nearing 70k miles with the same set of brake pads it had when it was new. I don’t see how regen braking DOESN’T reduce overall brake dust.

Someone should be fired for that ATS cluster. What a way to ruin an otherwise good-looking interior.
A few people I’ve encountered with mine didn’t even know it was electric AT ALL. Whenever anyone asks how it works, I keep it simple. “Imagine being able to top off a gallon of gas in your car every day, but with electricity, and if you need more, you have an actual gas tank on top of that”. Most people seem to really…
I had to get the transmission replaced in a Mini and it was in the shop for 6 and a half weeks. I was furious.
