I inspect cars coming in for auctions, and Teslas are such a pain in the ass to inspect because of issues with the *paint and fit/finish. It usually takes two people to inspect them: one to find the damage and another inspector to try and determine if the recorded damage/defect came that way from the factory or not

So... Is this just a proof of concept, or what? I’m kind of confused, but I’m under the impression that strapping cars to tracks is just a placeholder until they can make the actual tram/busses/whatever? Or did they suddenly decide “hey we’re not doing that, we’re just strapping your cars to the tracks” instead?
