This is just a good move by David on so many levels. For one, if I had to listen to those people talk, I would be in serious danger of plunging an icepick into my skull, so he dodged a bullet there. I read in an interview somewhere that David Schwimmer was always trying to talk the producers of Friends into hiring PoC for extra parts or the love interest roles. It’s why all of the (very few) PoC guest stars have story arcs with Ross!
