Only about 25% more than a non-hybrid equivalent.

That's not even remotely true. A new car does have an energy debt to pay off from the initial manufacturing, but it recoups it over time so long as it gets better mileage than the used car alternative.

I can (at least anecdotally) attest to this. I've been driving with an Ultragauge for the last month or two, and under acceleration the reported L/100km goes up, plateaus, and then decreases slightly. Upshift, same thing happens in the next gear. Flooring it in 2nd gives me better economy than half-throttle in 1st.

I played through and then got rid of RDR and LA Noire, never played GTA: Episodes or Midnight Club. I'd pick it up just to play through RDR again and get the rest as a bonus.

Yeah, but when you look at the aggregates of most things you get the same results. All things considered, the most popular beers aren't very good, the most popular food isn't very good, the biggest blockbuster movies aren't very good, and the same goes for music.

You not liking them doesn't necessarily mean they're either crap or overpriced. Sure, there are other headphones in the same price range that fare better for a wider variety of music, but they don't sound like Grados. If that's the sound you want (which it obviously isn't in your case) that's where you get it. I can't

You can very gently bend the frame to lessen the grip they put on your head. Alternatively, you can find something about the same size as your head (like a mannequin head or similar), and store them on it to help gently stretch the frame.

Talent at what? Pop music is a measure of various talents, one of which doesn't happen to be music virtuosity. People who are incredibly skilled musicians tend not to be pop stars, as the demands put on you have little to do with being an incredibly skilled musician. They won't 'make it big,' but that doesn't mean

No, nobody does. That's why no companies make or sell them anymore.

I'm a real estate photographer and if a client isn't sure how many photos they'll need for a house I can usually nail down an estimate from checking the front via Street View.

Not quite, there are a couple of differences that are almost totally insignificant in the grand scheme. The 7506's use a neodymium driver as opposed to the V6's samariam-cobalt driver (both are 40mm with more or less the same freq response) and the 7506 has a gold-plated connector. I don't think the differences are

I like white because it's the great equalizer of style. If you have a well-designed car, it looks good in white. If you don't, white makes it obvious.

According to Able Brewing it fits anything with a proper cone shape: Chemex and Hario pourovers, as well as Bonavita and Technivorm automatics: http://ablebrewing.com/pages/faq

I agree that I don't find it to be worth $160, but the metal Kone filter is apparently quite a bit different than other—even high-end like Swiss Gold—metal filters. They run $60, so then the pot is down to $100. I don't know if they're handmade, but they're made in Portland (local to Able Brewing) so I imagine that's

A million times this. The advantages of DOCSIS 3.0 aren't so much in speed (right now, at least) as they are in load balancing and smooth quality of service. For the minimal amount of extra money, go for 3.0 modems.

I just hope their LEDs aren't as god-awful as a number of CFLs that they sell.

Damn, that's a good first CD. It was my first Faith No More CD, but I had a longer and much worse history of other CDs that came before it.

Pros will most definitely end up with D600s in their stable. It likely won't be a primary camera, but 'most expensive' doesn't mean 'only one that will be used by professionals.'

Yeah, they seem to have a good blend of useful and stylish. I've been meaning to pick up one of their iMac shelves for a while now.

Try the Auto Glym rubber and vinyl spray if you're curious. You can apply it lightly and it doesn't make things too slick and shiny but you still get that nice clean look. Plus it smells great.
