She’s a long time Blue Jays fan, I just assumed she would welcome the sweet release of death a fastball to the head might bring.

Why are you surprised by this? Ice water is the #2 most common blood type in Canada, right below maple syrup.

Yes, it happens when you’re 4 or 5, but comes back when you’re 44 or 45 and older.

I got an Ecovacs DEEBOT M81 Pro. Works with Alexa, was hoping it’d get an update for Google Home, but nothing yet.

My first job out of college was in financial services, working in the headquarters of one of the big insurance companies. The heads up about a layoff was your team being called to the cafeteria for a random meeting, and crossing paths with the HR guy heading to your little corner of the cube farm with a bunch of boxes

Same here. I’ve been part of one layoff. I was the only employee on the clock on a Friday afternoon when corporate called me up at the front desk and said they are closing the branch at EOB so don’t come in to work tomorrow. For publicly traded companies, it is way too risky to give employees that kind of info in

I’ve lived through numerous layoff’s over the past 20 years (including the auto industry). Most companies do not give the employees a heads ups that layoffs are coming. My current employer, following a year of record revenue and profit, decided to cut 10% of our engineers. No reason given other than we hired too many

Holy wall of text.

What grabs my attention more is the long range dual motor is $47k mother f***ing sh!t! I paid $49k for my long range rwd back in October. EEELLLOOOONNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!

not quite. Destination and doc fees bring the price to $36,200

I traded in my Mazda 3 GT for a Model 3. There is no comparison between the comfort and performance of the two cars.

The Tesla GPS is google maps and infinitely more useful and easier to use than any other car. It’s the only nav I’ve ever used on any car I’ve owned. It’s easier than using the phone by far.

Forgot to factor in Tesla savings from no timing belt replacement, no oil changes, spark plugs, catalytic converter, radiator flushes, transmission fluid, etc. Save a lot of money on no internal combustion engine maintenance.

Because you can actually purchase this vehicle as opposed to waiting until “early 2020.” And you can get this in every state as opposed to just a few launch states for the Volvo. And the Tesla has a supercharger network. And it’s an American car (if that’s your sort of thing).

Wait, I thought you guys said the $35,000 Model 3 will never be built and Tesla has a higher chance of getting bankrupt. So, um, is someone gonna apologize or are we just going after Elon’s tweets?.........kinda like HER EMAILS!!!!!

Well I’ll be damned I said numerous time around here that they would never actually release the $35k model, I stand corrected.

Cool, right after the end of the $7,500 Tesla tax credit. Still, in Colorado you’d get the $3,750 fed tax credit, $5,000 state tax credit, so the car would be $26,250. Not bad.

Welp, mine just immediately lost thousands of dollars in value

That reminds me of this time I was doing Crossfit in law school...
