Stick your shrimp in a jalapeno, then wrap the whole thing with bacon.

Great interview. Season three of Brockmire has been so fucking good. This show is so under appreciated.

Yes, EVERYTHING should be kebabed!

I think Black Butte Porter is Deschutes’s top seller so it makes sense that it would be more widely found. Which is the cause and which is the effect is up for debate, though.

I didn’t realize Obsidian was underrated, but agreed that it’s pretty close to the Platonic ideal of what a stout should be. It’s one I try to work into a mixed sixer pretty regularly.

Anchor Steam is great, but their California Lager is my favorite that Anchor does. I haven’t been to their taphouse, which is something I should rectify.

Good call on Anchor Steam. I don’t see it often when I am out, but I usually order one.

I second Anchor Steam’s deliciousness.

That’s how I feel about Yuengling. I had zero interest in it until I started bowling regularly and realized it was the only brew any of the alleys sold that wasn’t Miller/Coors/Bud Lite.

Is each team’s unique type of health code violation also included in that cost?

Peggy: “I’ve been waiting for you.”

Damn, it actually makes me sad to see Stone disappear from Berlin. I’m not a native (I’m Norwegian), but I visit the city once or twice each year, and since the Marienpark venue opened I’ve been there every time.

Thanks for that! I’m not familiar with any of those places. I don’t live in San Diego or CA at all, I was curious if any national restaurant chains were involved. Those would be the ones I would try to avoid in Texas as well.
