Not to take away from the POC representation angle, but in addition, Abbie was an excellent woman character in a genre show in Season 1. For all the complaining certain sects of the internet does about the lack of women it’s gotten better in the past few years but Abbie was leading the charge. She was amazing in the

Fox needs to make this up to them. Put them on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as a pair of detectives in another precinct whose partnership/relationship Jack & Amy want to emulate. Put them on Gotham as internal affairs investigators looking into Galavan’s murder. Put them in season 2 of Scream Queens as the murderers. Just get

What I’m surprised the author hasn’t brought up is that the original showrunners left after the first season and took most of the writers with them. (They went to CBS to do ‘Skorpion’). I can’t help but wonder what the FOX execs did to warrant a mass exodus like that. There’s been a new showrunner every season and it

It was a travesty the way they utterly demolished a kick-ass compelling female co-lead. And I am still seething when I think about her being reduced to the little sidekick to the white guy, then given this egregious line “our job was to carry you forward”... seriously? Seriously!?! And this was supposed to be her

Well I already made my opinion very clear on here right after it happened but yes I am still pissed and I wish Orci and Kurtzman had never left although thinking about it now maybe we should have taken it as a sign. They loved and respected Nicole and when they had panels they all seemed to get along great. Then

Watch S1 in its entirety, then watch episodes 1-2 and 16-18 of S2, and pretend it ended there.

I’ve never seen a show implode as spectacularly and gruesomely as Sleepy Hollow did. I’ve never seen a collection of people squander such a fantastic conceit in a story-rich environment, such natural chemistry between two actors, and such enormous goodwill in a fanbase, as the producers and writers of Sleepy Hollow.

Luckily for me, while watching the finale I fell asleep right before they killed off Abby. The next morning my wife asked if I wanted to rewatch the episode, and told me how it ended.

And I know I’m the only person who watched The Blacklist, but The Blacklist. They unexpectedly killed the female lead two weeks ago (rumored to be because of the actress’ pregnancy), and I went “Oh. Are they... canceling the show?” and “So that’s how the Sleepy Hollow and 100 fans felt.”

I was actually liking S3 more than you, Rob (I read but I think I failed to comment on the earlier article about it); though, I agree with you that the villains and thus the main arc of this season were dull. So this development blindsided me. To me, it felt like the show *was* inching back towards being what I wanted

The morning after this episode, I woke up with the same awful feeling I had after seeing Han Solo bite it. Just kind of in a haze of, “did that just really happen?” And I’m still so pissed off about this one that I keep trying to do internet therapy by reading every article I can find about it.

Here’s my idea: supposedly the sequel to Beverly Hills Cop was supposed to be set in London. Find that script and retool it as a buddy romantic comedy action film with Beharie as the American cop and Mison as uptight Brit stuck with her. Or reverse it. She’s the uptight American cop with a play-by-his-own rules Brit.

I’m not at all looking forward to Sleepy Hollow: The Crane Agency if the show is renewed. I already pity whatever poor actress they get to be the new Witness since anyone still watching will automatically hate her for trying to replace Nicole Beharie.
