Pretty much. I explained in an earlier comment that the front and back end of S2 were the only episodes that I liked.

I’d watch! ;)
You know what I didn’t like about S2 of Sleepy Hollow? The middle episodes. (I’ve been catching up on what I’ve missed of S2 and 3.) Somewhere along the lines TPTB got it in their heads that they needed to copy from Grimm’s playbook and...With the exception of the first and last 2 or 3 episodes, I didn’t see the point.
I know I tend to be alone when I say this, but the focus on Crane’s family is the only thing people seem to dislike that didn’t bother me. I felt it was in the cards from the show’s beginning—or at least the end of S1. Nevertheless IMO, there were ways of exploring Crane’s backstory without diminishing Abbie.
They could always get a new showrunner or restore the show’s original production team.
The only way I could see TPTB renewing the show is if they fixed it. And by “fixed” I mean, “eliminated all production problems and rehired Nicole Beharie.”
I’m glad I’m not alone in Bitter Corner. I’m working on a rant of my own.
