This is why all these wild ideas should be tested out on the C-Suite bros first.

Bingo!

Shhh... you just said the quiet part out loud.

In other words - his own work as CEO is so minimal and brain-dead that an AI can handle whatever he’s doing now, and he’s so stupid that he thinks all other jobs are as minimal and brain-dead as his?

If an AI can do my job while I’m on vacation, I will not have a job to come back to.

And yet, they still won’t let you work from home.

“Our coastlines are the first line of defense against storms, and our Gulf beaches are just eroding away,” Hendrickson told Grist. “I don’t know where we go with it now, or how we come together to work through it.”

Ah, you know the demographic.  It’s Florida after all.

Typical republicans.

Public funds to fix your beach? Yes? Then full public access. But realistically, no money or other resources need to be wasted on constantly rebuilding a lost cause.

Why should tax payers pay for their private property? Typical freeloaders.

Let them collapse and be consumed by the seas that they insist aren’t rising.

I’m going to also hedge my bets and say these are the same people that attempt to absolutely pay the lowest amount of taxes possible (or skirt them entirely).

If they want tax payers money to be used to fix it then tax payers should have access to the beaches. Otherwise let them pay for it themselves

fuck em’

Which is why I say “Fuck you” to Google’s spokesperson characterizing this as a desirable feature, and not a modern horror.

It’s about fucking time!

Because of the tax cuts they get, you mean they got what WE paid for.

Welcome to plutocracy, a government for and by the wealthy- and only them. This is the expected result when a government legalizes bribery. They don’t work for “the little people”, they just pretend they do.

Oh, to be a billionaire and get so much free stuff from the government
