Good.

Nothing should give me more joy than fucking shortseller vampire profiteers getting ramrodded where it hurts them the absolute most (IE their pocketbooks), but unfortunately there’s also considerable overlap between these anti-short dudebro “stonks” types and fascist-adjacent incels/trumpistas.

Municipal and institutional investors should absolutely scare traditional crypto holders; with them will come the demand for regulation and scrutiny that will absolutely collapse the entire pyramid scheme market.

It wouldn’t be the first time, and we semi-regularly launch missions with plenty of highly enriched plutonium onboard in the form of RTGs. While it’s not as pure as this would be, an accident wouldn’t be a nothingburger.

And it means they have to worry less about a surprise solar storm giving the entire crew radiation poisoning on the way.

That means you need to carry less supplies per person, which leaves more room for other things. That kind of speed also extends the launch window and makes you much less dependent on the relative location of the two planets.  It changes just about everything that makes the mission logistically difficult.  It doesn’t

I’ve wondered if the xv scenario could have been all a ruse from a large software company to cast shade on open source and increase their own sales.  Seems like exactly the players that would have both the resources and motive.

Boeing is Exhibit A of, if corporations really want to be people, there needs to be a corporate death penalty.  Break it up, sell off the parts, and let another aerospace company rise that won’t endanger air travel by cutting corners for profits.

Chaturbate actually has already written a check, they just need an ID to verify that the State of Texas is who they say they are.

It’s already started on the margins. It’s begun with stuff that’s not that important in the eyes of directors—posters and promotional art.

From what I’ve heard, pretty much all FAANG company layoffs in California in the past couple years are: turn in your laptop, all company access blocked, you are still officially an employee for 60 days with pay/benefits, and then you are laid off on the last day. This is what the WARN act forces them to do.

Brutal. That, folks, is why ya need a union.” Yep, but real brutality is not getting severance at all, which is how it is for plenty of US workers. This is high profile though, so none would be big news, but if they thought they could get away with it they would.

They literally made a program that does the Family Guy joke.

Jeebus. This is only a few ill-conceived SCOTUS rulings away from the nightmare scenario where prosecutors don’t need to try cases anymore because: “AI can be used to determine guilt by scanning the defendant’s face. Our algorithm says that “darker” faces are guilty, while “lighter” faces are not.”

I suspect I speak

This is absurd. Not only does it highlight the fact that our government could do something about major issues if they wanted to, but that they deemed an APP to be such a massive pressing issue that they steamrolled this through any way they could. Why? Because it’s too effective at getting people educated, organized

So establishing a national firewall where the government decides what is and isn’t “good” is the precedent we want to establish.

I especially love this:

“This is so unfair! Nobody should be allowed to manipulate stock prices but us!”

I’m shocked, SHOCKED!

his company is a giant stock manipulation.
