Most cities have lawsuit insurance. Most likely, Dome would get paid, the city’s insurance would go up some more, and no one will question why the city tried to avoid spending a few thousand dollars on speedbumps at the cost of a million dollar lawsuit for negligence.

Yeah, he’s never abused anybody.... unless you count the video tape of him verbally abusing somebody, or if you believe the complaints of repeated abuse coming from the community. But sure, if you don’t believe either evidence or testimony, then he has never abused anyone.

That’s a ridiculous abuse of power. Now way a 3 day suspension is sufficient.

On another site, white people were defending this mess, showing that it breaks down to a perception of (unearned) entitlement, a universal agreement that they should always supersede non white people by any means necessary. That woman and her child are lucky to be alive.
