Republicans have been preparing for this since the 60s. They’ve long been expecting the demographics shift, and they’ve spent decades preparing their voters to understand that they will have to end democracy if they can’t have power. Their voters are fine with this.

This is why the Republicans have been concentrating on the court system here in this here USA.  They get to say what is legal and what’s not.  Take this to court and a Republican judge can say: This is sure legal, take this to the Supreme Court, they’ll uphold it.  

“CRT” will be defined as whatever they want it to be so they can defund schools with progressive curriculums, schools in liberal districts, schools in majority-minority districts, schools in urban districts, unless they teach a very specific and narrow propaganda message in place real, actual, factual history.

So, what I am seeing is that Republicans are AGAINST cancel culture when it comes to keeping racist Dr. Seuss books in schools, but FOR cancel culture when it comes to teaching American History (in any way other than “God wanted to give white people a nice place so he made America his exceptional little paradise.”)
