I think the most insidious thing the Ku Klux Klan achieved in America was to reframe the very perception of racism among white people. It gave them this almost cartoonish image of capital-R Racists as guys in white sheets burning crosses on lawns and lynching black people in mobs. And so many of these white people

Probably the first legit good thing I’ve heard about Florida in quite a while.

Supporting Mitch McConnell alone in any way shape or form suggests that he is being more than disingenuous with his “Sorry, not sorry” BS.

He is saying that a juror who went to an MLK event last year lied about attending a BLM event on the jury questionnaire, thus making him biased against Chauvin. Because we all know that going to an event honoring MLK is just like attending a BLM rally -- because black folk all look the same.

Decent people usually are biased against dead-eyed psychos who slowly squeeze the life out of a person.

Instead of vigorously fighting the charges, perhaps they should have vigorously done their jobs correctly. Bad apples don’t pepper spray people, thugs do.

Which of course led to this:

Republicans understand America better than Democrats do, that’s for sure.

Meanwhile, a judge has ordered Le-Nguyen not to return home

Reagan started us down this hole. He really fucked this country royally

This asshole has been running the same play for 40 years and every time its tried, it fails and ruins the people who tried it. How does he keep getting his ass on TV and in front of lawmakers? There is not a person to have been wrong more consistently, and yet given more chances to be an “expert” that I can think of.

I can’t wait for this guy to join Reagan and Limbaugh in hell.

Known “Marxist” George Bush Sr. dubbed supply-side economics as “voodoo economics”.

Let me guess, he thinks three-fifths of $15 is a more appropriate wage.

Did trickle down economics work, by literally anybody’s metric?  No?  Then why does anybody give 2 shits what this dumbfuck has to say?

Hypocrisy and Projection are all the right wing has left.

He’s looking for 10 “good” Republicans (they don’t exist) HE isn’t even good enough to fucking vote for it. He’s actively working against it.

That should be his epitaph:

He doesn’t want the John Lewis bill either. He knows it won’t pass and gets to hide behind the filibuster. The Republicans also get to trot out <10 members to play “reasonable,” also knowing it won’t pass. It’s all theater.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, right before Republicans spiked the 1/6 commission, Manchin was out there saying, “There’s got to be 10 good people over there.”
