The thing that pisses me off about this is that it all comes down to Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema. They’re demanding a “bipartisan” solution when the country literally gave their party a super majority because they understand that bipartisanship isn’t fucking working right now.

There are several key issues that fall under police reform, and a national database of blacklisted fired/terminated officers ranks up there with busting the police unions and ending qualified immunity. Allowing these bad cops to move to another community is unconscionable.

That’s another reason why making them carry liability insurance as a condition of being licensed/employed is a thing that needs to happen.
