That HAS to be right.
That HAS to be right.
hahaha
Tracking range on what radar though? You mean those lower band search radars that don’t guide missiles? :)
It doesn’t even matter if the missile can reach the target, but what about the radar doing midcourse and possibly terminal guidance for it?
You deserve a cookie, a beer, and 100 stars.
The SAMs are a bigger threat than the AAMs, IMO...
That 400km range is vs ballistic targets, IIRC.
Compromised?
Canada’s making some short sighted decisions that they’ll probably regret/change later...
Ahh, see what you meant there now! :)
Uh-huh, and F-15C is mach 2.5 capable, actually, NASA got their F-15B up to mach 2.7...That’s clean, and you’re limited to 60 seconds/above 50,000ft.
Fly-away price.
The F-35 is in production though...unless you’re talking as if Block 4+ full production is the only production. :)
Wrong, actually...being able to use AIM-120s on the internal A/A stations is what it will actually be doing most of the time - in US service at least. When was the last time you needed more than 2 AAMs for self escort? When BVR missiles had a ~0.2 Pk?
Got me there on the first bit, was going to edit that out haha! I even SAID it was IOC in ‘05. I’ll see if I can edit that and point out my full retard... :)
You could have done that 15-20 years ago, its too late for that BS now.
The F-22 bombed crap back in 2013...I see what you’re trying to say here, but you/we simply don’t know when the F-22 was ready for combat.
F-35C IOC in mid-late 2018 is quite a while?
lol
