Bad idea capability wise, the Super Hornet offers nothing in air to air that a 35 can’t do (apparently thats the important thing for Canada, politically...), and in air to mud its kinda...well, think about it, you’re not getting the sensor fusion of an F-35 (unless you buy the ASHs, which are probably the same price…
