Von Clyderdale: Exiled from Jezebel

I was thinking on my way to work today that the Weinstein case ended sort of how we wanted, but will the new narrative be “Now that MeToo has been solved...”

You’re a terrible shot and or small penis disorder, two things I’m sure this girl’s grandfather suffers from.

Society lives in fear of what they don’t understand? We’re afraid of letting people roam around with loaded weapons because we don’t understand your “culture”? You’re the psychos who are so afraid of encountering a terrorist attack in the produce section you feel the need to carry a loaded gun to go to the eff’n

His thinking is probably something along the lines of “the gun lobby needs a Thunberg.... Here’s my grandbaby!”

Wonder if this guy gripes about how the libs use that Thunberg girl to further their climate change hoax....

Just in case you wanted the honest answer to the question...

Yeah we’re all very unreasonable to be concerned about a small child carrying deadly weapons around.

Why on earth would you use a semi-automatic weapon to kill deer

This’ll make me look terrible but I um... am the target market for luxury hotels. We stay at very nice hotels and pay full price, unless redeeming Marriott points. Anyone who is fortunate enough to be able to book these places will tell you we actively avoid influencer hotspots. If influencers gloam on to whatever

And that’s usually what they do. Having logged close to 20 years working with luxury hotels and resorts, the vast majority of the guests usually visited based on word of mouth recommendations from friends. That also translated many times in to group business as well (some CEO stays at a hotel and thinks, this would be

Do people who can afford these luxury resorts really follow influencers on social media? If I were super rich and looking for a luxury hotel, I wouldn’t look at some random millenial’s instagram, I'd ask my super rich friends.

I’m an old, so I think this is all malarkey, but that said, what’s the harm in politely declining a influencer’s request? I seem to remember one place in the (UK? Ireland?) that was kinda snarky in their reply to an influencer and posted it on social media. On the flip slide, if business is slow and rooms are vacant,

I have a friend who is a restaurant reviewer for a newspaper. He has a modest expense account. He takes his job very seriously and hates when people demand freebies. He also hates that some places feel like they need to offer him free meals like they’re being shaken down by the mafia. Glorified Yelpers demanding free

Look, if we made it easier for women to report domestic violence, then there is a greater chance that dudes would have to spend some time in jail.

I can’t imagine having to move around in those bottoms. Good lord.

The people who sexualize women’s athletic uniforms also often overlook the fact that, in many instances, the women don’t have a choice to wear something more modest even if they want to. I do not believe that NCAA gymnastics uniform rules permit anything other than the traditional one-piece leotard with brief-style

Mom of an elite gymnast competing in tumbling and trampoline. THIS SET MY SOUL ON FIRE. Not only have you outed yourself as sexist, but you have outed yourself as a pervert, sir.

My current position is far better for my mental health too. It’s interesting viewing how my former colleagues work from an outside perspective; they’ll often complain they’re too busy to attend training or go to meetings, or that they want extra staff but they’re quite often found sitting around chatting.

Shelter Cat Update!

So, I’m curious at what point a private conversation becomes defamation. I know this case focused on his status as a public figure, but it’s not like she went to Us Weekly and said this- she texted it to a friend.
