I think that you may have missed the joke here. Nice job making it political though, really keeping up that comment section stereotype :P

“When you give your Uber driver fewer than 5 stars, the app always asks you what went wrong. “

There’s another part to this story. It was in response to this accident

Seriously... assembling a large, volunteer force to rescue people is “for better and worse”, because a guy helping people dares to mention he heard gunfire... and right after that they crosspost an article telling journalists to stop shaming looters.

1) Walk up to same model Audi as you own.

Are you one of those bigger = safer people?

This is the worst attempt at a Hot Take ever.

I guess they’re just going to have to get a real job then.

.22lr, saving ~25 cents per round!

Wouldn’t that just ensure that it stays there longer judging from AAA reaction times? Heck, it’s probably still infront of his house looking like swiss cheese by now.

For those who have lost count, I believe this is rollover #3

Given that it wasn’t your car and you weren’t driving the title seems a bit misleading, no?

Displacement has an effect on specific output. You’ll notice that the engines with highest specific output are usually 5.0L or less. As engine size increases, losses to friction and heat loss start to build up. This makes it increasingly difficult to achieve high specific output as displacement increases.

Bus stop chicane. Job done.

So, the TT, the most epic motorcycle race in the world, is only newsworthy when someone dies?

No. We shouldn’t. and i doubt the TT will change because of this.
The TT is the last truly great race on the planet. the last bit of free air, away from the nanny state and safety police, I will never ever dare to go there, but I’m glad it exists. I respect the riders who dare to test themselves.

Honestly, the old bikes suck. Go ride any modern bike, and you’ll never want to ride one of these old oil cooled gixxers again. ;)

So do they manage to do this without increasing rolling resistance to the cars? If the road deforms more than typical asphalt, they really wouldn’t be capturing lost energy as much as taking energy from people’s cars (which aren’t exactly thermodynamically efficient to begin with)

Pretty much any car from back in the day doesn’t meet current safety standards. My dad drove Checker Marathons when we were growing up, so that all of us 5 kids had a seat. These jump seats don’t meet current safety standards either, but we’re all still alive today:
