LS3 crate engine weighs 415lbs, whereas the stock KA24DE is around 390. That's barely a 30lbs weight gain, and the V8 is a small package which when installed properly can be pushed further back against the firewall for better balance.

American pushrod V8s sorta got a bad rep in the 90s when they kinda had to compete

Light weight, easy power, small packaging, cheap parts.

I liken non-turbo Supras to V6 Mustangs. So no, it's not worth 'saving'... it's worth buying to swap an engine and transmission though!!! I'm not sure what the going rate for a complete swap is, probably $6-8k.. so if you can score this thing for under 12-14, it'd be a worthy investment.

I love that they call it an automated process.

Automated in the sense that the driver has to stop the truck at an exact point, and then he (or someone else) has to manually operate the hoist to lower the plow to the right height, and then drive the truck through it? lol

They should've paid a real nerd or two to design

Auto-journalism is a giant circle jerk. The way press fleets and special events are handled is sad and hilarious at the same time. There's an inner-circle rub & tugging back and forth with PR people, busy serving each other for favors and favorable opinions. The simple reality of the entire industry is that car

I love this video so much.. because he misses turn-in by a mile.

Superretards are the most fun things on 2 wheels.

Anyone else skip right through the video while Arthut St Antoine is talkin?

My point sailed so far over your head, I had to wait 2 months to respond.

As good as the Valmets are, I could never see myself spending upwards of $5k for a fancy milled AK-47.. it sucks that that's the only option we have for AKs. The CZ just isn't the same.

It sounds like they're gonna spend some money on a marketing push, but that's the wrong way to go about it. They need to spend money to make the Viper eat up the Z06- the marketing will resolve itself after that.

If it happened to Harris? Nothing... they brush it off and move along.

If it happens to a lesser journalist? He'd probably have a hard time getting a car again...

LOL remember when a "proper" rack was totally manual? It's funny how times change.. now hydraulic power steering is considered "proper"

Good post, except it should be noted by all people, not just those fresh out of school. Unless you're already rich and financially secure, there's just no point in buying a new car. A lease or finance payment should be completely disposable cash- money you can throw away without even noticing it. If you don't have

McLaren called.....

I was gonna say something along these lines... who knows whats really happening behind the scenes in these jailbreaks. You really are giving up a massive level of security and privacy when you JB your phone, and considering the source, I'd say NOPE NOPE all the way.

When there's rust involved, and the car isn't a classic 911 or an E30 M3, the answer is always the same: get rid of it.

Those lag bolts are so hilariously overkill. Just one of those screwed into a wood stud could hold up 6 of your TVs :)

Yeah well I spent a few years looking at photos of them..... no big deal

This settles it. Nissan Armada is one bad-ass truck.
