"I don't want to believe that cops shoot old ladies for no good reason. It's just that's all I can conclude at this point."

I said "if" she pointed it at him, because I notice that part was missing in the story as well. By the sounds of it there should be at least one witness to this whole mess. I don't know how they do it down there, but where I live, any cop-involved shooting puts the officer on immediate leave and the Special

The officer involved, Stephen Stem, was involved in another fatal shooting in early 2013. He was cleared of any wrongdoing in that incident and has been placed on paid administrative leave. The Hearne City Council will have a special meeting on Saturday to determine what, if any, disciplinary measures will happen to

Yeah I kinda found that funny too. The cop asked me later for his report how fast I think the drunk guy was going at any given point and I said "probably 150, I lost him once or twice". I figured there would be no recourse to me regardless, as they were very thankful, but the 911 operator was probably just concerned

I recently used a G37S Coupe to chase a drunk for about 15 miles on the highway before the cops could join on the fun. Ok its not a GT3RS, but it was still good times! I had 9-1-1 on speakerphone and kept assuring them I was doing 99km/h (100kmh speed limit) the entire time.

"No sir, Im not speeding, don't worry" ...

thats AMAZING

What difference does it make when he's suing? If the police report backs it up, I don't see a problem with it. Frankly I'm surprised a guy as rich as Schumacher didn't do the right thing and settle it roadside with a fat check. Fair is fair.

Terribly lazy design.

As already mentioned, the true benefactors are the union goons and leadership, and politicians who get kickbacks for allowing the racket to continue.

Curious: do you think the difference between the as-tested car and a base model would be as prevalent considering the conditions in which he drove it? Very cold december day, sticky sports tires, and puttering around at 10% potential?

Yep.

aahahahahaha damn thats ahh-mazing!!!

On track, the Vette really comes alive, with a quick turn-in and a fun tendency to kick out the tail out on power down. This is fun defined, and where it feels at home.

Impressive marketing stunt.

They're having an absolutely amazing time out there... a guy can only dream.

Never understood why my tax dollars pay for big luxurious SUVs for patrol cops.. they just end up lowering them and stiffening the suspension, so whats the point? Ontario Provincial Police have these everywhere now, and their main job is ticketing folks on the highways... the expenditure just makes no sense.

As already stated, there are entire books on the subject.

I live near Toronto. Bought my Z in New Hampshire off eBay. I spent about an hour talking with the owner about it first, and he sent along enough photos for me to be comfortable with making the trek down.

I run ZDDP-rich Amsoil in my flat tappet Ford small-block. Sorry, but its just not worth going against the grain for such a trivial thing.

Obviously if these companies still make zinc-rich oils and label them as premium or "racing" products there is something to it after-all.
