This album is fantastic. I’ve had Persona Non Grata  pretty much on repeat since it dropped in March and I’m glad this album is living up to that hype.

I know. But lots of media outlets still use the slur and still keep the slur in quotes from others. The Root and its writers have been very good about not doing that (as in the above story) and I want them to know it is appreciated.

What is “an adult woman”? A 50 year old? Yeah, likely. An 18 year old? No, one can’t always tell the difference between a 15 year old and an 18 year old - particularly when the 15 year old is living on their own, legally as an adult, and likely trying to appear as mature and responsible as possible.
