No thanks, that's literally how people get in trouble. Look for some kotaku post about some dude getting fired for disagreeing with lead devs an unaffiliated board.

If steam has taught me one thing... buy on sale if its not something you urgently want.

"I'll grant that most devs don't bother putting details like this into their games, but it's nothing all THAT special."
Exactly. Also I always seem to forget about Parallax if I don't see or hear it for a long time.

Volumetric clouding, or at least anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering because in a lot of these shots its obvious its very low or completely off... if you know how to tell the difference.
*NO ILL INTENT HERE* Although if you play console games a lot and haven't played many or any PC games it would actually probably

See we don't know the framerate yet though what if when 8 people and a bunch of enemies show up it dips below 24 fps? If they can keep 30 fps while all that is happening I'll actually be surprised and given them a silent applaud but I doubt that will happen.
Chances are the draw rate is going to be very crappy to make

I can't do what these dev TEAMS do but that's because its actually hard and expensive to break into the industry. Bungie is a huge team and used to push the boundaries for good graphics on consoles while delivering solid gameplay, they both look average now.

Far from irrelevant, dumb is your opinion though.

Not so much at console parties anymore for some reason.

Who the hell knows man, who the hell knows.

Honestly man I couldn't tell you for consoles they seem pretty dead set in their ways lately.
ARMA 3 is probably my favorite recent example of volumetric clouds and even fog in a game.

Nice analogy on your part because it works near perfectly for this.

Also they is easier when referring to a person when the gender is ambiguous for potential future use. He in my case though not that it really matters... actually it kind of does but that might be too much into neuroscience and psychology for kotaku

Yeah, you see I think tons of people on here just glance at it and kinda blur their eyes so as not to notice the faults.

I'd like to agree with Axi5, that's a pretty bad analogy and Daemonecles its a piece are art critiquing is what you do. Taking a critique of someones work personally because you like it just sounds dumb. Everyones getting all defensive because they like it and I thought it was ok.

To nitpick your analogy more I

Smart, maybe but you know how sometimes you just notice a small detail that will bother you endlessly? That's what the clouds in this were for me.

See that's what happened when I looked at it it just looked too strange.

FECK, ARSE, GIRLS!
Getting that off my chest, the comments not meant for you then, just ignore it but I actually used to spend time animating and modelling as well as using dev provided tools to make levels and whatnot so I actually have reasons to pay attention to this... and I'm a bit of a perfectionist... its a

And there are TONS of beautiful time lapses of that game on PC with hundreds of mods or no mods at all that just make it look better than this video did.
Like I said above its pretty but not that pretty.

Thanks I'm good. *as if he's being asked if he'd like an extra side dish*

Its the internet I don't need completely proper punctuation. Spelling, yes. Punctuation, no. Think of it as if you're reading dialogue.

Not all games now use pre-rendered skyboxes anymore although its only a very recent removal.

Exactly what I was going for, thank you.
