every other minute of every day, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT AMOURANTH IS UP TO!
Fascinating, but what I really need to know is what Amouranth is up to?
Can we, please, PLEASE all come to the conclusion that shite like this is not newsworthy?
What is the on going obsession with her on Kotaku lately. I'm glad she's out of that abusive relationship and all but do we really need coverage that she randomly got free money and gifts...what purpose does this serve other than to promote her stream?
How many people at Kotaku are on the Amouranth news team?
Good, shouldn’t have been in the cards to begin with.
I’m surprised Kotaku didn’t write an article about it.
Probably because, at least as of my writing this, it hasn’t been officially said to be. TMZ is reporting it saying “people close” have said so, but there’s been no official statement. I’d rather them wait for that before reporting on it.
Nintendo’s idea of a deal...
59.99 for Mario Odyssey
Black Friday Deal, Mario Odyssey 58.99
Given that this statement is not an apology for discrimination, nor an overwhelming affirmation of support for the LGBTQ+ community, it seems unlikely to stymie the current wave of criticism.
I don’t have it in me to care much about the banal, warm-glass-of-milk-level treacle that weird fundies watch. They want to line drive bad movies/shows to the “traditional” set, fine. Whatever.
People are so weird.
The PSP version that had a lot of content work done to it was $40 on release.
FF Tactics was a revelation in that it told a serious story and the party aren’t the standard hero trope. They’re behind the scenes doing a lot of the dirty work.
Yeah, I’m the same. I’m playing FF9 right now, and it’s weirdly refreshing to just get... items. Like, hilariously, there’s crafting in that game too, but it’s a) fully optional and b) the items have utility OUTSIDE of crafting, cuz they’re WEAPONS AND ARMOR. Once they have no use, you go to a shop and turn your old…
Completely agree with you. The time commitment/grind of the whole thing and on top of that you typically have to manage inventory. Don’t have any room? Gather ingredients to craft a larger backpack or satchel or whatever the fuck. Or backtrack for 30min to offload some items into storage. Ugh.
Just like “RPG elements” that don’t fit the genre. Actions games don’t need skill tress, just unlock new skills and moves with the story. Collecting exp and holding Square doesn’t make me any extra connection to the new move/mechanic. Not every game need to have levels ups or exp grinding.
Don’t you think you’re over doing it with the articles on social media a tiny bit?
When there’s absolutely no legitimate reason whatsoever to make you do that, yeah.
No. We’re complaining about hitting a button, waiting for a bunch of advertising bullshit to load, and only then being able to press the button we wanted to press in the first place. And that button is usually followed by a bunch more advertising bullshit before we can even start the game proper.
