Sounds promising. Does your hidden blade actually assassinate people again instead of being level dependant?

surprised it took this long

None of that’s really an excuse for why the west coast or other local areas couldn’t have robust networks.

Also, Japan is nothing but mountains.

sorry, hastily made edit. slower than flying*

Europe and China are comparable sizes.
The point is not for a train to somehow outcompete planes crossing the continent, just that’s it better than other options for most of the distances that people actually go. Driving from the NYC to LA is WAY slower than driving, and yet hte roads go the whole anyway. Why? Because

I don’t think it necessarily needed a “tough” ending, but that story should have spanned the game through a long series of sidequests, not all crammed into the final chapter. Made me wonder why that town involved any busywork sidequests when they had such a story in mind for it.

I don’t love FFXVI, but at what point was that an element of the plot? The polygon article pretended this as well, that somehow Clive was learning slavery was bad, and that just...never happened.

Remember when it was unacceptable that it took 20 hours to get to the good part of Final Fantasy XIII? XD

Agreed. I understand the rationale of letting a player realistically see everything on a single character...but becoming the archmage without being able to cast anything more than the starting fire attack always sucked a lot of the meaning from it.

I’ve wanted this since 1998

Yeah they’ve been clear there’s no co-op. Which is fine for me, but what I actually want to know is will there be split screen 1v1 fights. That’s what I *actually* want, and was my favorite part of hte PS1 games.

As a big fan of the PS1 games, I’m sure the full suite of those numbers matter in hyper competitive online battles with people who live and breathe it, but for a casual player like me most of those numbers are window dressing.
Deciding you want to make a fast build, or a energy-weapon build, or one with a lot of ammo,

Agreed, it’s been extremely difficult to resist being a hipster about it as a fan of the PS1 titles ^_^’

So glad Armored Core is back

letting them off scott free how? Who are they not letting off scott free? Assuming this person isn’t abusively tweeting at devs, what judgement are they actually meting out? I would say most people aim their ire at the Activisions and Ubisofts of the world. Not Respawn or whatever. Especially when it comes to

but only being able to play as one character is the worst and least Final Fantasy thing about it...

Wonder if we’ll get another 15 minutes of a press conference devoted to nothing but a dog being in calluhdoody.

If it’s an open source charger connector, fine. If it’s their proprietary thing, get bent.
