I’m just so glad it’s turn-based. I’ve always struggled to get into “real-time-with-pause” systems that just felt so cumbersome to me. D&D itself is turn-based, so it only makes sense.

the deleting episodes that were already up is what’s especially confusing to me

Shows get canceled all the time...but deleting the existing show from the platform is so weird. It’s like they want people to pirate it.

Ban always-online for single player gaming!

I agree, like, it’s fine that XVI is what it is, I’m having fun with it, but I thought VII Remake basically nailed the action/turn-based hybrid Square has been trying to master for the better part of 20 years.
It’s not flawless, but it’s damn close. I thought it was a phenomenal combat system.

I think people gloss

hahahaha VIII?
This post was reasonable until then.

Yes. I’m sure this game will be good for the most part, but the lack of a party and the Game of Thrones cribbing really turn me off.

FF Tactics will remove anyone’s compulsions about attacking chocobos.

I mean I was being facetious, but that wouldn’t be my first concern, no.

Apparently not, fortunately.

I mean my wired version of that controller is still plugged into my PC and still works after like 15 years, which is more than I can say for any other contemporary controllers

screw you square this is what you should released in the first place.

has diablo iv even been OUT for 172 hours?

The work is usually being done by “MT”s, which are (generally) smaller robots that are either manned or unmanned and do factory work or security. As compared to the “AC”s, which are definitely manned and much more feared.

Technically you’re a mercenary. If they could pay, you’d fight for the striking workers too :P

Trying to be on the absolute bleeding edge of photorealistic graphics all the time is a hurdle that the industry has mostly imposed on itself.
True there are a lot of people that expect it, but the industry itself GAVE them those expectations by always touting that as the most important thing. But more importantly,

bravo

Welcome to our (millenials) world. Get blamed for shit you weren’t old enough to have an impact on.
And then on the way out, continue to be blamed for things the kids are doing that you’re too old to be a part of but pop media hasn’t decided on a new name for “the kids” yet.

I just meant it’s option 2 in your list, which I guess would allow for option 1 as well. As far as Cloud (and Sephiroth really) knew at the time, Tifa was going to die from those wounds. And Cloud never learned how she got out and healed. So Sephiroth saying that could absolutely put doubts in Cloud’s head.

But as for

yes but Cloud doesn’t know about any of that.
