I mean, maybe not explicit nudity, but there is a definite sex scene.

They’ve confirmed that Clive will be the only playable character and that there will be nonplayable party members...but how much of a group they are remains to be seen. And the trailers haven’t really demonstrated one yet.

I mean, yeah, but if they just sub in cringe western archetypes, that’s not a massive improvement, haha.

Still bummed about the lack of party members. Don’t love how relentlessly dark it looks, either. Also that’s a lot of dudes.

The graphics definitely look great, though.

bayonetta isn’t that major of a series....and the last entry was 8 years ago....

this is a very bizarre reading of what she said.

Gotta agree. I thought Tales of Arise was a decently fun game. But I cannot figure out what everyone saw in that cast of characters. Never did they seem to ask the obvious question, or approach a given situation in a way that I would have.

I don’t need, or even necessarily want, remakes of the Xenosaga games. But at least get them out of being trapped on PS2, come on.

See, I love Xenosaga. (2, unfortunately, is not good, and the fact that it is that way because of Takahashi’s own decisions makes it hurt even more. However, it’s still a part of the story that make up excellent games in 1 and 3.) I love the gameplay, I love the story and mystery and excitement in the action scenes,

This. I absolutely adore Xenosaga, and it continues to pain me that Xenoblade isn’t that. Which isn’t fair to the new games, I know, but...there it is.

The mobile exclusivity remains the most baffling thing. I downloaded it when it came out, seemed competent enough, but completely unenjoyable with touch screen controls.

Even without the background Chevy drama, I wouldn’t have expected him simply because his character is dead. I know nothing is technically impossible with a show like Community, but still, dunno why speculation about that gets as much oxygen as it does.

It’s very nearly not worth doing if Glover and Brown don’t appear

Frankly, the midbudget game has been MIA for a long time now, with everything being either adorable critical indie darling, or AAA behemoth. I feel like the slot formerly held by midbudget games has been usurped by mobile and gacha titles. So, in that way, I rather appreciate this game’s existence.

Do you guys not have phones?

Sony’s just gonna remaster/make every game the very next generation now, are they?

lol, no. If the justification is to teach and improve the playerbase, you can’t also charge to skip it. That undermines the whole argument.

Force new players to learn WTF is going on and how certain characters work before insta-locking Doomfist and gigafeeding.

That was the only one that caught my eye, but I haven’t heard of it before now. (not super on the pulse of modern anime)

Exactly. If your kid isn’t a nightmare, and is on the older side of that age range, I can’t really find the will to be upset about letting them entertain themselves in a video game store for a bit. But to expect the staff to actually look out for them is insane.
