I think the problem is that people don't know the difference between sociopath and psychopath, which is admittedly pretty hard to define off the top of one's head, and just think calling anyone who isn't Hannibal Lecter a psychopath seems wrong.

Rape is sex, how can it not be "about" sex? Steven Pinker debunked this ridiculous idea in "The Blank Slate", which everyone should read. Just because a rapist rapes because he wants sex, and not because he wants to exert his power or whatever, doesn't make it any less of a horrific crime. And just because a woman

One of my biggest phillistine points is that I didn't like L'Avventura. This sounds slightly more tolerable.

I would be surprised if you didn't find the first season boring. It's a long, slow build, and there's almost zero plot to keep you coming back, but the emotional payoff is immense, and incredibly satisfying. Streaming is still downloading, it just stays on your hard drive for a shorter length of time.

You know, I simply cannot understand people.

I hate musicals, but Singing in the Rain is amazing and you should watch it regardless.

No, but it certainly didn't help.

Ugh, my ex hated The Thing. Like, she thought it was a campy pile of crap and kept asking me why I showed it to her. So disappointed.

I watched season 2 of Spiral like a year ago and I still haven't got around to season 3. One day…

Not that surprising when you consider "Are You Afraid…" was Canadian.

So you have a high level of care regarding these people? Or just slightly above zero?

I would like to hear Lisa play Giant Steps.

I don't even know anymore.

If you can't recite this scene from memory, you're not a real Simpsons fan there I said it.
