Yes. I’ve had sex with two people who’d had upbringings that told them sex was bad and dirty outside of marriage (which meant reproduction). One had been brought up in a home that followed that approach and one who didn’t. Both still had hangups years after leaving.

My in-laws love cruises for this reason. My mother in law has limited mobility and they get to see a lot of places this way.

On the one hand, yes. On the other hand, it is not unrealistic to expect the cruise company to be on top of things and go where they said they’d go. 

I was wondering that too. My providers for my first and second pregnancies did them at appointments and even the infertility clinic I went to did flu shots just in case. Nothing like doing a whole cycle of drugs just to have an IUI, egg retrieval, or embryo transfer cancelled because you’re too sick. 

Just last week, someone wrote to the blog Ask A Manager (great blog to follow btw) asking if they could/should fire someone for not disclosing that she was pregnant during her interview.

Sounds like constructive termination. 

I would love for this to happen. This just made my day. 

This is an entirely reasonable approach and I’ve done the same.
