I swear by laser printers. I print once a week if that. My inkjet printer is a brother AIO that is retired to just scanning (to a USB stick!). I've had this laser second-hand from a church pastor and its been complaining about low magenta for almost a year.

I've kept gadget destruction to a minimum throughout my life (I used to smash electronic toys apart just to see the insides and find out how they work but that was before I discovered screwdrivers)
The plain ones are in the house-wares section, not electronics. The clock-radios can be found in the electronics section.
