DST can die in a fire. Leave it on DST Standard Time  and never switch it again.

DST is stupid, but not as stupid as the concept of changing your clocks twice a year. Arizona doesn’t observe DST, NO ONE ELSE SHOULD EITHER. Just leave the clocks alone. Its an obsolete custom.

AZ has permanent mountain STANDARD time. They do okay with it. Were CA to stay on standard time sunset on June 21 would be 8pm in San Diego and 8:52 in Eurica. Going to Daylight time is dumb. There are 24 time zones. You’re in one. Accept it and move on.

Star Wars Resistance premieres its first two episodes at 10 p.m. this Sunday on the Disney Channel and will air subsequent Sundays on Disney XD.

The Blue Thunder series was cancelled after 11 episodes because even the network that was airing it knew it couldn’t compete with Airwolf. Airwolf wins in ratings.

Par for the course, that’s why people see these movies. You could find a way to composite a shot of a knife edge near Cruise’s eyeball in M:I 2, but he actually had them hold a real knife a quarter inch from it. They could’ve used CG to have him run up and down (literally!) the tallest building in the world in M:I- GP…

I've gotten the "you have a knife?!" Reaction to my pocket knife while in a restaurant....where literally everyone had a larger knife right in front of them.

You need to learn how to use it. You will cut your assailant, but if he/she is familiar with knife defense and you are not, you are going to be in bad shape very quickly.

I would imagine he's thinking about the fact that most people are untrained in how to fight with a knife (not as easy you might think), not to mention having the presence of mind to get a knife out of your pocket, opened, and ready to defend yourself with; most people aren't mentally prepared for that sort of…

As a self defense instructor, I stopped reading at that line. I would much rather defend against a baseball bat or even a gun (in most scenarios) than a knife. Nasty, nasty things...
