Oh, man! All my fears evaporated when I saw image #7. Great to know that they're honoring Ron Cobb's design work in the original, even though they didn't bring him in to work on this.

Had this when it came out, but it got lost somewhere through the years. So glad to be able to revisit it. They really did a great job of staying faithful to Giger's & Cobb's designs. Other comic adaptations of movies I've seen make up their own, simpler designs.

I think it's awesome that Patrick isn't one of those embarrassed by their early work, who's embracing it instead. And always great to see an actor who's done Sci-Fi that actually has an extracurricular interest in it.
