If Hill was in any way coerced to plead guilty to a crime he asserts he did not commit, he has never said so publicly.

He’s already tied the record by winning finals MVP with two franchises. He’s on track for a third by being the best player on (probably) the NBA’s best team. It’s not totally inconceivable that he leaves the Clippers for another contender and wins titles with four different franchises.

I don’t watch or like basketball, I don’t follow the NBA, but I get the sense that I should be a Kawhi Leonard fan.  I became a LeBron fan when he called Trump a bum on Twitter, so maybe I can be an independent, unaffiliated fan.  

He’s eligible for a bigger max after 10 years in the league. He’s currently at 8. There’s no way he was signing anything other than a 2+1 no matter what team he signed with.

This guy is also betraying his ignorance of how signing an NBA contract actually works. Five minutes of research tells me that all NBA contracts have to be on the Uniform Player Contract, which is only subject to limited amendments. In other words, it is not possible for there to be any other legally binding agreement…

J-Dubs, dude-bro, it’s almost like the NBA is a business in which players exchange their talent and effort for monetary compensation and thus will secure legally binding agreements to ensure they get the best compensation possible for their very small window of viable service.
