Heh, that made me remember this one
Just realized she was the singer for this early example of memetic internet lulz.
I personally found the 2000s to be more cringeworthy than the 90s.
Yeah, this is a case of an awkward script and direction, rather than the talent of the voice actors, who have shown they can do really well in other games and shows.
Yeah, there are some pretty damn decent pro voice actors here. Matthew Mercer and Laura Bailey have done much better in other games and shows. They just have a really awkward script and direction.
As I said in another post, the 90s could be divided into specific eras. Some remember the neon-soaked vanilla ice era, which to me is indistinguishable from the late 80s. Others remember the grungy, windows 95-using era. Others remember the late era, which, to me is indistinguishable from the early 2000s. I like to…
If that's true, then they are very, very off.
I know my 90s, this isn't very 90s. Thought it was going to be more Pete & Pete-ish, but I was amused nonetheless. Stannis is pretty much exactly what he would've been like as a teen.
Usually NMA is pretty savvy with American and western culture, I suspect there are plenty of Americans on their team. I suspect, however, that this was put in by one of the Taiwanese members of the team and got past the American members. Usually, countries in east Asia are pretty naively tone-deaf when it comes to…
I find it odd that Cold War-era Europe, especially places right on the edge of the Iron Curtain like Berlin, is a little-explored place and time for video games. There's so much espionage and cloak and dagger type stuff going on, it'd make for an awesome game. Tired of pseudo-scifi modern day/near future stuff like…
Watching footage of this game literally makes me feel ill. I dunno what it is, I think its the FOV.
I've been trying to figure out what makes the 90s, well, the 90s, as compared to other decades, and the best that I can think of is that alot of the entertainment had a dreamy, otherworldly quality to it. Not just in commercials, but also in movies, tv shows and most especially in music videos. They used a lot of wide…
Along with insurance and medicine commercials.
Yup. Too many white backgrounds. Waaaaaay too many white backgrounds.
You are only aloud back in when you can sing the Animaniacs theme from memory.
Agreed. There was an "otherworldly" quality to 90s advertising that made it among the best around. They really went all out with production values back then.
I half-expected to see MATT DAMON.
