MTV is still on?
The "I can take you furniture shopping" was another hilariously timely jab at the state of affairs today that my friends missed and just killed me. I had to pause the DVR I was laughing so hard.
Not a cover - that's clearly Tim Booth (frontman for James) singing, so I imagine it's just a remix of it…
He HAD the money to make Clerks 3, but one of the four actors needed to make such a film changed his mind. (Being that it isn't Kevin/Jason, it's either Bryan or Jeff.) Kevin said as much during his Fatman On Batman podcast talking about it, and while the money was there, and they were literally weeks prior to…
Yeah, it's like - if you just picked and chose the good 3-4 songs from each album he's done after EiT, you'd have a fantastic album. But there's so much filler…
I miss Something Corporate more than most gone bands, and I'm sad to see Andrew seems to be continuing his de-evolution into bland songwriter. He needs to get the old band back together and get that fire back in his belly. Otherwise he's going to get stuck in this groove and be swept away by the sound of it.
Heat wins 1995. No need to lack confidence about that. The shootout in downtown LA remains one of the watermarks for how on-site audio can't be recreated sometimes.
Incredibly glad "Full Contact" got a shout out. Ringo Lam has never quite gotten the appreciation he deserves (especially since "Reservoir Dogs" is basically grand theft cinema of "City On Fire") and it's a hell of a crazy/fun/trashy film.
Pip the Troll, obv. I suspect we'll see Adam Warlock and the rest of the Infinity Watch via this one.
C'mon man. Vaughn died. Cohen died. Bowie died. Do me the favor of continuing to act until you die as well. Shit, Cohen JUST put out an album. I want your last film to be released posthumously. You can do it. (does it help that I still love Sneakers and Spy Game more than most people?)
It's "astral" form, not "astro" form. They get it right in the movie. The reviewer's just mishearing. And yes, Captain Pedantic for the win.
It's the last season of flashbacks, though. If they get another season, they're gonna have to do something else.
They're clearly setting up the storyline where Gordon becomes Batman for a while…
As Bill Hicks once said, "There's a war on drugs… and the people ON drugs are winning it!"
If you're going to do an erotic thriller, why bother with PG-13?
Why wait?
This was, hands down, the moment of the season thusfar.
Is this the Hollyweed show Kevin Smith was talking about shooting a while back?
I'm fairly certain the article should say "Strike Back season three" instead of "Stride Back season three" but it's entirely possible there's a show about walking it back that I've never heard of. It's simply unlikely it made it to season three, but if I'm wrong, well, I'll walk it back…
"What other things can we take from the Batman mythos and spin into the Arrowverse? Ra's worked well."
"Well, what if we made Felicity into Oracle, so paralyze her. She's already good with computers, so we're half-way there already."
"I like the way you think!"
