Glorious is more than a bit strong. It was an interesting book that stopped being amusing when the author failed to realize a pop culture wink every ten sentences doesn't construe characterization. Which was around the half way point.
You could always give my podcast a listen…
You have a problem with his hair? Are you kidding? He's STILL emulating his grandfather…
Glad to see you understand exactly how nonsense it all is, including, y'know, the part where the main villain was manipulated as an unborn child as part of some secret experiment, or the part where characters can be revived unless kept dead by Plot Reasons, or the part where most of the protagonist's back story is…

Yeah? Fuck it.
This absolutely KILLED me.

Not that it makes it better or anything. But it's not like Archer PUT her in the lingerie - that's just what she was wearing during…
Oh, right. Dottie also referred to him as "Fennhoff" at the end, which is Faustus's real name in the comics. Confirmed.
Ivchenko WAS reading "Faust" when they came to get him in the opener flashback. I think that's as strong a confirmation that he's Dr. Faustus as I need…
