@tw0bears: now you know how I feel on the cat walk each day. yeah on the catwalk on the catwalk yeah. I do my little turn on the catwalk.

@Live N Learn: There are no "100% dependable methods" in this situation, unfortunately.

This is pretty awesome. And people bashing it for probably being crappy food = obvious. I want someone to buy and live on this for a year to see how it goes. Would make an awesome blog, might even convince me to contribute toward helping the blogger purchase it.

@gizmodocon: It doesnt do anything because its not out yet, or because it's not particularly useful to begin with?

@pexy: Google TV doesnt sell anything. They offer Amazon on demand as a service, which rents HBO shows for around $2.00 right now. iTunes lets you buy for $2.99~, or seasons for $34.99.

@jp182: I was thinking folks who don't have cable at all.

Just to clarify: Google TV provides access to Amazon video on demand. Google does not own or operate a content store like iTunes.

The look on my face of disappearing excitement thinking "ooh I could do this" to "oh....I definitely won't" was pretty fast. I love the idea of re-purposing items for new ways, but this kind of fails to be very palatable (hah!).

@rjw2116: So according to your definition, purchase habits take place solely within either "functional," "emotional," or "brand loyalty." Hmm. That seems extremely flawed.

@SKiTz: You should be good with Sony, it's the relationship you need to maintain with Redmond thats a bit of a challenge. Which is why I stick with the macbook.

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: They are around, but slowly diminishing into oblivion. A few years ago, there are a stronghold of diehard fans that always stood beyond the reach of RIM. Then Palm OS was passted on to Garnet (3rd part) and a long, slow death followed. The Treo was pretty big, and there were a

@baneyu: What lawsuit are you talking about?

Mint, what kind of black magic do you encompass?
