I didn't love the first season, but I thought it came together nicely at the end so I'll definitely give the 2nd season a shot. Sucks we have to wait so long, but given the ambitious scope of the first season I'm not surprised.

It's pretty easy to question those decisions in hindsight but honestly only Walking Dead seems like a no brainer on paper.

At least season 2 reminded us that Colin Farell is a really good actor.

Yeah it makes no sense to maintain two separate applications when the only difference is the authentication method. There has to be some marketing or app approval red tape process that justifies it at least for now.

This is not even close to one of his best rants. Stop with the hyperbole AV Club. It is definitely his calmest rant though.

Good for Weir. He deserves this chance. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

Thank you for reminding me that review exists. It's Pitchfork at their most Pitchforkiness: "The experience and emotions tied to listening to Kid A are like witnessing the stillborn birth of a child while simultaneously having the opportunity to see her play in the afterlife on Imax."

I'm so glad this opened with Kid A. I consider myself a big Radiohead fan (and love their new album) but I only like 3 songs on Kid A which puts it as one of the "worst" Radiohead albums for me. I thought I was the only one who felt that way until reading this.

I look forward to the commercials: "From the director who was fired from Brave comes a movie no one asked for…"

$100+ billion companies with like 75% market share tend to have more influence than you local microbrewery.

I was half joking when I said that. I've seen the two From the Basement shows so I know what he does at least in a live setting. I got to say I feel bad for him sometimes. He just stands there waiting around for his moment to do something subtle.

No one gives Colin Greenwood the credit he deserves for so many awesome bass lines. And Phil Selway is a human drum machine. And Ed O'Brien is…um…a guy that does stuff probably.

I'm glad to see someone taking his short stories and adapting them into *gasp* short films. With the exception of Minority Report and Adjustment Bureau the rest of his short story to feature length adaptations have been stretched too thin or are just bad. Paycheck is probably my favorite. Hopefully they do that one

I can't stop listening to The Numbers. The string arrangements just take that track to the next level.

Who pays $300 for something at what is essentially a garage sale?

That article made my head hurt. Basically from now on sales charts mean nothing. I don't know why they don't just say hey it sold this many copies and the songs on it have been streamed collectively this many times. Then you can brag about two different records and no one is confused.

No because that would require an album to be done and sitting on the shelf for months beforehand so that inventory can be built up and in the meantime that album will leak because someone will just steal it from a stock room. That's the old way of doing it. Now Radiohead can work on the album up until Sunday morning

The orgy of percussion on that song is so damn good.

Start with OK Computer. There is a reason that album made them superstars. Then listen to the even more rock oriented The Bends and then prepare to never hear electric guitar again on their songs.

I remember getting OK Computer as a present in '97 or '98 when I was 13/14. That was my first album experience. Even though I liked it I don't think I listened to another Radiohead album until In Rainbows came out.
