You're talking a difference of $7 though and Haunted Knight is not anywhere near as good. You got present the best to someone new. If a newbie wanted short stories I'd recommend Batman: Mad Love and Other Stories since it would feel instantly familiar if they had ever watched the animated series.

There is a difference between thinking Kanye is an asshole and still liking his music versus Cosby raping dozens of women and thinking he's funny. You can only separate the art from the artist so much.

I would recommend a stand alone story first so someone can see if they enjoy reading comics without feeling like they are being cheated by getting a fraction of the whole story.

If he is coming near you, go to the show. I saw him on this tour and it was top 5 best concerts of all time for me. The new songs sound even better live.

This series has sucked since the opening scene of movie 1 where they took everything that was engaging about the story and tone of the first game and threw it out the window. I can't believe there have been so many of these movies.

I enjoyed the shootout but it's cheesy as hell to have a scene where every person dies but the main characters. That's like something out of 24.

To the writers credit the cops mention that they are unprepared before they leave the station. But I guess they couldn't wait. I don't think they expected automatic weapons either.

I was 10 so all I remember is that Big Me video playing all the time on MTV. But I will say 20 years later that album is still damn good. The trifecta of Alone + Easy Target, Good Grief, and Floaty is the highlight of a album filled with almost all great songs.

They have my favorite gimmick in all of wrestling. I love their entrance. But yeah I have no idea how a larger audience will receive them.
