Saw him on The Tonight Show last week and was really impressed. Started listening to the new album today and I'm even more impressed. The production has this great laid back jazzy vibe. Reminds me a bit of the Roots blended with early Nas. Really digging it so far.

The more I read about him including some passages from his book it makes me realize how whitewashed the movie was and it takes it down another peg.

That movie was great. Is there some internet backlash I'm unaware of for it? I've never heard someone say they didn't like it. Also it's kind of equal parts Hurt Locker and Enemy at the Gates (which I also loved).

It's actually a really interesting story. ESPN did a good Nine for IX on it (that's the female equivalent of 30 for 30…I'm not making that up). Free divers are crazy and her death is actually controversial so there is a little more to the story then you might think.

Regardless of your opinion on Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine definitely doesn't get as much hate as it deserves.

I'm not. I mean even though X-Men and Spiderman are Marvel characters I don't even associate them with Marvel because they exist in their own world.

Yeah that was great. Pretty sure no person who is 21/22 has ever had to make or answer a collect call. I also loved how Hannah's parents were like "I'm going to call you back" as if she wasn't standing at a pay phone.

Yes you are. He's always been the secret weapon of this show but if he stays in Iowa for a long period of time I'm concerned they are going to overuse him and then he will become annoying to everyone.

Well I'm just going off the movie. I haven't read the book. It certainly doesn't surprise me though that Clint Eastwood would make a movie portraying someone like that in the best light possible.

Yeah I thought it was weird he looked like he was reading when I assume that was just his stand up material unless he wrote it specifically for the show.

I can't stand him and I find this episode to be pretty funny so that is saying something.

I can't stand Kevin Hart but I really enjoyed this episode. His monologue was good and they used his high (often annoying) energy in a good way like the James Brown skit. I really liked the digital short too. And it seemed like all the skits were not overly long like they usually are.

These covers are fucking great. Glad to see Run The Jewels making their way to audiences outside of the rap community. All the buzz they get is well deserved.

Just saw it and it's definitely a solid B. It's basically a sniper version of The Hurt Locker only not as good in just about every way. Cooper was good as usual but not good enough to take a spot in the best actor category over Jake Gyllenhaal.

I fixed the typo in your first sentence: "With [the final 4 seasons], they definitely hurt the legacy of the show… and the brand."

I agree. I'm glad A Most Violent Year didn't get nominated for anything. That was released on 12/31 (a Wednesday) in 4 theaters just to be eligible.

And Three 6 Mafia have as many as Martin Scorsese. This game is fun.

Yeah it definitely has. I was pissed off when I realized it only came out in NYC/LA on Christmas. You typically don't see such major advertising efforts for movies that aren't released nationwide right away.

I used to rock the FM transmitter which was so weak it could barely overpower static. Stupid FCC regulations.

I have a Ford Fusion and its the best of both worlds. It has a good amount of buttons that operate common functions on the center console but overall its just a touch screen. But what makes it so nice is all the major functions can be controlled by steering wheel buttons and by looking at small screens above the
