Well the academy likes to give "lifetime achievement" oscars sometimes so I think this nomination is that and unfortunately someone has to get the boot to allow him a spot.

Yeah you have it right. The fact that Andy Serkis wasn't allowed to be nominated was bullshit.

Lot of comments here already but I'll add they pretty much nailed the nominations except for choosing Bruce Dern over Joaquin Phoenix. You could pretty much call that award a tie and give every one a statue for how good they all were though.

I listened to a few of their tracks and it certainly wasn't as weird as I was expecting from the photo above. Fairly catchy but I didn't really care for the singer's voice. Sounded a lot like Bjork to me.

This band is 2nd billed under Outkast at Coachella. Should I know who they are? Considering they are playing Terminal 5 and not Madison Square Garden I'm kind of confused why they are billed so high.

Ha according to Rolling Stone they signed up for 40 festivals which is really scraping the bottom of the festival barrel. So I totally expect them to be there.

Yeah they really just use those categories so they can nominate as many big name actors as possible and have them show up. If they actually took that category literally The World's End would have swept the golden globes and it would have been awesome.

I totally agree but for Danny Pudi to get awards these voting organizations would have to actually acknowledge that Community exists and that doesn't seem like it ever is going to happen unfortunately.

The movie was basically made for Moms that's why. I thought it was a enjoyable movie but nothing special.

I don't know why but for some reason the comedy categories always really bother me. I don't really care about anything else but why does Jim Parsons continue to be nominated in every award show while someone like Jordan Peele or Taran Killam or Nick Offerman does not? I know comedy is subjective but c'mon.

Yeah I agree but at the same time I don't want them to just retire. Their last album was good enough to keep me interested but I will always regret not seeing them in concert with Frusciante.

It's easy to rip on Bruno Mars on a site like this but honestly his 2nd album is pretty good. He seems to release shitty singles but there is some good stuff on there and he is a good live performer.

At this point he's a proven actor who can do everything from innocence to sociopathic murderer. Perfect combination for a fall to the dark side. Hope he lands the role.
