Well that's it, we've reached the pinnacle of Newswire articles. It's all down hill from here folks.

I don't find Jessica Williams that funny. I think she is by far the weakest correspondent. I don't think her race had as much to do with her hiring as her age and gender did. Daily Show has had plenty of diversity race wise but it has very few women on the show and rarely had anyone represent the younger generation.

In my opinion this is the best line up they've ever had. For once I'm a big fan of all 3 headliners. And on top of that you have QOSTA, Broken Bells, AFI, Sleigh Bells, Nas, Holy Ghost, and Crosses.

Based only on that clip Leslie Jones's stand up is not impressive. I thought comedians were long past the whole "white people do this black people do this" style.

I really really like his music. His EP and first album Camp are great. His new album is a little weird but has some good tracks too. It took a little while to grow on me. He's a good live performer. Great energy and has a good band. Definitely worth checking out.

Who do I have to talk to in order to get an email address at bootyboyz.bz? I want to put that on my resume from now on.

Wait the kids are into Childish Gambino? Since I bought that album does that make me young and hip again?

The first CD I ever bought was the Batman Forever Soundtrack. I also remember getting the CD single of Smashing Pumpkins Zero around that same time.

@avclub-97815cb302c2a984aac3af1ee8f68e8d:disqus I understand your point and I agree to a certain extent but if you look at the recent nominations it is clear the voters aren't thinking like you.

Yeah it's insane. If she came out 15 years ago she could have sold Thriller numbers and charged even more for each album.

Interesting. Thanks for the history lesson. No reason the awards shouldn't evolve over time though and eliminate the separate award. I mean in the 50's there was no best rap album.

Well you could always buy singles it was just never cost effective to do so.

Why in 2014 do we still have slightly blurry non high resolution pictures of things?Everyone's phone has a ridiculous camera on it.

Didn't N'Sync sell 2 million copies in one week before? Man times have changed.

Totally agree. From my experience I've found the same and I am firmly in the latter camp who just really admires the composition and the skill it takes to perform them.

Yeah I always got the impression that the image Maynard portrays to his fans as Tool singer is a total joke to him. Danny Carey seems to honestly be into all that weird shit and I don't know about the other two but I think Maynard plays it up big time. I'm a big fan of Tool and APC but the level a lot of Tool fans

I've seen them twice and I'd say they are good live but not anywhere near the best you'll ever see. Keenan's hiding in the shadows shtick is really stupid and they play like a maximum of 10 songs which barely hits the 1 hour 45 minute mark which for a band that has been around that long should be easily 2+ hours.

Beerfest was hilarious. It's not a Super Troopers level classic but it's a really funny movie. I'll take even a crappy Broken Lizard movie at this point over anything Sandler puts out.
