Well, as with every superhero movie, the star needs to have as much facetime as possible. So, I think, no matter how they render Iron Man's armor, you're gonna see RDJ's face at every opportunity.

It's a little strange, because every one else in the MCU has a costume that either doesn't cover their eyes or doesn't move. It's sort of extra cartoon-y whereas most of the other heroes look slightly more realistic.

If they can actually fit all of this into one movie, why did the Hobbit have to be 3?

Not gonna lie, I got hours of enjoyment out of these book as a kid. That does not translate into wanting to see a movie version though.

I'm 95% percent sure I'm not Alex Jones. But I probably did just land myself on some sort of government watch-list.

Complicated is right. The rules of the electoral college are a mystery to me, and I assume to most American citizens.

While I would never advocate assassination, I was just sort of idly wondering the other day what would happen if Trump won the election, but was assassinated before he could be sworn into office. This line of thought was likely spurred by John Oliver's line about time travelers from the future coming back to prevent

I have to say, the strings in "Yesterday" are beautiful, and before today I'd never really listened to them. The song is wonderful without them of course, but I think the harmonies they add to Paul's vocal melody take it to another level.

Great googily moogily

Make a weekend out of it and head up to Portland. Mrs. CleverGuy did that to see the Decemberists one time. It was pretty great. Alas, it doesn't seem to be the same venue, so I can't vouch for the beer prices.

I believe it's already available. It's The Color Before the Sun, and I've like what I've heard from it. Haven't picked it up myself yet.

I had already sort of fallen off watching it, but when I heard they killed of Dr. Sweets on Bones, I knew I'd never go back. I always sort of enjoyed the show, and I even got over them turning Zach into a cannibal serial killer's apprentice. But killing Sweets is just too much.

Movies based on video games are always terrible, and I don't think Warcraft will be an exception to that rule. I assumed that all the orcs were just CGI'd, though—is it really all makeup and prosthetics?

Between this and Warcraft, this could be the beginning of the Orc-Renaissance we've all been waiting for. Ever since, you know, the Hobbit movies came out.

I know it's not really an example of "not-Will Smith," but there were a couple scenes in I Am Legend that he was extremely good in. I'm thinking specifically of the scenes where he's talking to the mannequins he has set up in the video store, both before and after [I'm going to be safe and put out a spoiler warning

Don't forget Hogwarts: A History. It's a Ken Burns style documentary.

London (Alabama) Has Fallen

Oy is tailor-made for motion-captured Andy Serkis.

There were parts of the Gunslinger in New York. SPOILERS! Jake is killed in New York but somehow ends up in Mid-World with Roland, who then is forced to sacrifice his surrogate son in order to catch up with the man in black.
