Awful lot of ragging on the 2.0 Supra. “Only $8k cheaper” - that’s a lot of money! Considering the Supra 2.0 is a significantly nicer and faster car than the 86, I’m sure plenty of people appreciate it being the inbetween the 86 and the 3.0 Supra.

They feel AMAZING for like 15 minutes and then hit a steady state of temperature with your body and cook you to death. Same with the fancy “temperature regulating” comforters. You’re much better off with a traditional mattress that breathes well.

Counterpoint to pretty much all of this: the average consumer doesn’t give a shit. They just want a car that feels good to drive (which the IS/RC tend to be), looks good, is pretty quick, and is a nice place to sit.

All of these CEO letters to the dealers feel like a cheap marketing ploy. “Look, we’re trying!” with no actions being taken. If any of these automakers made an example of even a single dealer, the rest of the dealers would fall in line (or do the “I dare you to do this to me” bullshit, which hopefully results in them…

No, that’s in the US as well. And people want to lump Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia dealers together but Kia dealers are a whole special level of bad. The Stinger was marked up over MSRP and required jumping through hoops to test drive in a BUYERS market.

Those MB cowards need to bring the A35 and/or A45 hatch here. Since Audi won’t bring the S3/RS3 hatch here, and the Golf R interior controls are total garbage, someone needs to step up!

Have you sat in the new GV70? Same platform, similar price point, miles ahead on interior design. 

Does an interior facelift count? The Genesis G70 interior is laughably bad compared to every other Genesis now on the market. The exterior update is nice! But the interior looks like it’s from a totally different automaker by comparison these days.

I hope the kid at least gets his money back from the other dealer.
