I have a 2018 Audi S5 Sportback. It has frameless windows, which are cool. Not cool? When it’s raining or whatever and I go through a drive-thru, the water runs right off the roof and into the window. The roof does not have anything to channel the water away (or if it does, it’s insufficient).

Ah that’s fair. Yeah cockpits in BMWs and Mercedes feel similar as you go up and down the range (other than E Class for some reason), with just available options differing. The BMW is the “safe” pick of the 3 - close to what I have now, just updated, but probably rides and drives similar.

On the roads by me, something with such a short wheelbase would be miserable to drive every day. I’d love a small car, I just wouldn’t love living with a small car in the Chicago area.

I’ve begun the process of replacing my 2018 S5 Sportback and have narrowed it down to three options (unless I find something great on the CPO market like a 840i xDrive coupe): M440i xdrive Gran Coupe, CT5-V AWD, CLE53 AMG coupe.

This is why consumer protection laws exist, and why shitty red states often pass laws that strip away consumer protections. Ugh.

7. 7 tech.

Not just blandest, but average Americans love giant stupid SUVs that don’t work in a lot of other markets because we have more open space than them. There’s a reason why small cars continue to get killed off here. :(

Uhhhh pretty much all of these stupid events and podcasts and shows could just be newsletters.

Audi specifically designed their current doorhandles (at least on my S5, but I think it’s the same on everything now) to be the easiest and most natural to open. They pull out and up in a natural motion (vs straight out or pull up).

Mustang drivers manage to pull it off all the time without impairment, so I imagine it’s pretty easy to do with a car that’s much faster.

You think FIBs are bad, go drive in Ohio at literally any time of the year.

Yep. Other drivers. I can control my car and it’s generally fine in winter, but I cannot predict what the idiot driving a Mustang on most definitely the wrong tires in Illinois/Wisconsin winters is going to do.

If we’re being realistic, there’s an 80% chance he made up the “I got it stolen from me after I stole it” part to not be at fault for the damages.

It’s weird that they built an entire show around how Loki variants DON’T ALL LOOK LIKE TOM, but all of the Kang variants need to look like Majors? This is the easiest out ever, they could have just had a couple look like him and introduce replacements during the build up... starting with Loki season 2.

Dealers are greedy for ordering only the expensive ones for the biggest profits. Jeep is greedy for realizing the cult status of Jeeps means they can charge more for luxury shit. And people who keep buying them despite how overpriced many of them are fuel the first two.

Every system that relies on a TOUCHPAD to navigate with no touchscreen (I’m looking at you Acura and pre-touchscreen Lexus). At least the scroll wheels you could adapt to but the touchpads were just miserable trash and picked up all the oil from your fingers.

Fair point. As others have said, maybe they just need writers to run through the script to punch things up.

Filoni was fine with animated show dialogue (which was terrible in Clones Wars, but better in Rebels), but he really struggles with live action. I think his INTENT is good, but he should have brought in much better directors to sharpen up dialogue and the scenes in general, plus editing to make everything flow better.

You can thank natural disasters and Florida for that.

That’s fine, you love Tesla and you romanticize their interior to a level that is beyond objective.
