Salary cap has nothing to do with the owner’s ability to pay. The NFL is a hard cap, and if a team is up against that cap every year, then there’s nothing more to spend. All the numbers point to not overpaying rbs. As much as it sucks for rbs, I don’t blame teams for spending their money elsewhere.
