My Jeep has this feature, but some jack-wad software engineer thought it would make sense to have BOTH mirrors do this. I’m sure there’s probably no good reason to have a drivers side mirror when I’m parallel parking... except, ya know, to see the cars coming up behind me to make sure it’s still safe to proceed.

+1 for the stupid always-illuminated gauges.  So many people these days drive at night without their lights on because of this stupid change made to cars in recent years.
