I don’t think anybody hates the Harley people as much as motorcycle riders who don’t ride Harleys.

A sportbike’s exhaust is SO much louder than a stock Harley’s.
And you’ve missed the worst ramification of GM’s (mis)use of backup lights: The boy-who-cried-wolf aspect. How many people will die because they became inured to the display of backup lights and walked directly into the path of a backing vehicle which they erroneously assumed was merely being armed?
I just want to endorse Loremipsum’s conversion of “my wife’s boyfriend” into a Gizmodo meme. (I mean “meme” in the sense of what the word was actually coined to refer to; not a picture with block letters on it.) Let’s keep this going!
If this hip is Christmas and this hip is New Year’s, why don’t you come up and see me sometime between the holidays?
Does Trump accept responsibility and look out for his team? Not in the least. In this category, he exhibits one of the most unmanly of behaviors: He’s a blamer. Nothing is ever his fault.
Were I wearing a hat, I would doff it to you, good sir!
So let me get this straight: You wrote a story about how unforgivable it is to reveal spoilers (at least regarding MCU property joints), and you then publish (with no spoiler warning) at the top of your story the very spoiler you’re writing about someone else getting in deep shit for revealing?
Oh, but Matt was explicitly talking about Mr. Clark here. Note the article title: “Workers Are Being ‘Turned In’ by Employers for Not Coming to Work During the Pandemic.” Re-read the lede. This article explicitly casts Ohio’s (and other States’) employers as the bad guys. The response to which you yourself replied…
Can’t tell if trolling or just insane.
Keep in mind that the number of registered Republicans underestimates the actual number of Republicans/conservatives in this country. Many States do not require registration with a particular party when voting in primaries, so there’s a whole bunch you’re missing there. And many “Democrats” are Southern conservatives…
“First of all, it wasn’t a civil war, it was a (misguided) war for Southern Independence. Civil Wars are fought for control of the entire territory. That’s just nonsense spin from 170 years ago.”
“but not every font is a proportional font. If you are going to create a rigid standard, it should handle every case.”
Actually it’s the wrong way to type on either a typewriter or a computer that uses a proportional-width font. And it’s the right way to do it on either a typewriter or a computer that is using a monospaced font.
100 points to you for endorsing the Oxford comma. Only morons argue against it.
“Things typed on a computer are still a lot easier to read if there are 2 spaces after the period though.”
This deserves all the stars.
Beth, you can’t possibly think that Demolition Man conceived the notion of corporate conglomerates, can you?
I also disagree with the Wikipedia “sides” classification; neighborhoods 9-14 are shown as part of the Far North Side, when anyone who lives there, myself included, will tell you that we live on the Northwest side, immediately to the south on this map.
Thank you for finding that gorgeous, long-lost photo outtake from the Allman Brothers’ Brothers and Sisters album cover shoot.
