World War Z, as a book, is like "The Best Years of Our Lives," not "The Dirty Dozen." To turn it into a mission-focused movie is to miss the point of what makes it great.

The movie is about the way the world changed—it's not about a crisis. It's about a post-crisis world. To make it this way is to completely change what makes WWZ different from other stories. If Paramount wants to make this movie, that's fine, but it's not WWZ, it's just some zombie movie.
